Hayotiy hikoyalarimiz qahramonlarini har xil taqdiri, geografiyasi, yoshidan qatiiy nazar ularning barchasini mehnatsevarlik, hayotda biror narsaga erishish istagi va yuzlab o’quvchilarga o’zlarini topishga va orzularini ro’yobga chiqarishga yordam bergan MBS maktabi birlashtiradi.

Sakkiz yil oldin Viktoriya 13 yoshli o’g’li bilan qadimiy Sankt-Peterburgdan Amerikaga keldi. Ijodkor inson – sahna san’ati o’qituvchisi, Bruklinda u bolalar bog’chasida o’qituvchi bo’lib ishlagan.

Men maktabga faqat gaplashish uchun bordim va Doktor Alla Seroyning Ocean Medical Plazadagi tibbiyot yordamchisi bo’lib chiqdim.

Olti yil oldin Gruziyalik dunyo xalqlarining raqs o’qituvchisi Tamara AQShga kelganida, u uchun: “kim bo’lib ishlash kerak? qayerda o’qish kerak? yangi hayotni qanday qurish kerak?” – degan savollar ko’ndalang turardi Tamara o’z ishini keksalarga g’amxo’rlik qilish agentligidan boshladi, keyinchalik – tibbiyot markazida kotib lavozimida ishladi. Elena olti yildan beri Nyu-Yorkda yashaydi. U iqtisodchi ma’lumotiga ega bo’lishiga qaramasdan, u ko’pincha “ona” vazifasini bajargan. Do’stining so’zlarini yerda qoldirmasdan tez orada Ivanna ham talaba bo’ldi. Asosiy kursni tugatgandan so’ng, uni Mainmonides Medical Center ga amaliyotga yuborishdi, keyin esa tibbiyot yordamchisi sifatida kasalxonaga qabul qilindi.

– Masalan, ko‘pchiligimiz, jumladan, men ham tibbiyotning amaliy ishlaridan, ayniqsa, qon tahlilini o’tkazishni o‘rganishdan qo‘rqardik… Agar tajriba, bilim, to‘g‘ri yondashuvga ega bo’lgan sabr-toqatli Natalya Nilova bo’lmaganda edi, Amerika tibbiyoti biz kabi tajribali mutaxassislardan mahrum bo’lishi mumkin edi, – deydi Lena tabassum va hazil bilan.

– Bizga kompyuter o‘qituvchisi Mark Yadushlivi juda chuqur bilim berdi, u biz uchun nafaqat ustoz, balki buyuk do‘st bo‘lgan va shunday bo‘lib qoladi.

Siz nafaqat tibbiy terminologiya, anatomiya, farmakologiya, bemorlar bilan munosabatlar, in’ektsiyalarni qanday qo’llash, kattalar va bolalarga sun`iy nafas bersih, tibbiy asbob-uskunalardan foydalanish, hayotiy belgilarni o’lchash, laboratoriya namunalarini yig’ish, ultratovush va rentgen kabi diagnostika uskunalarini ishlatish haqida bilib olasiz. . Вы заметили такую особенность: когда мы что-либо не делаем, то всегда находим этому оправдание. И, конечно же, как правило, виноваты обстоятельства, а не мы са­ми. То возраст «уж не тот», то денег нет, то уста­лость и занятость, а может еще чего. Но на са­мом деле – это только отговорки. Елена Тян приехала в Нью-Йорк 4 года назад. И приехала не подростком, а «богатой» мамой троих детей: двух взрослых до­чек и сына. В прошлой жизни, несмотря на эко­номическое образование, большей частью она «работала мамой». Уж очень много времени за­нимала большая семья! – Например, многим из нас, в том числе и мне, было страшно­вато подступить к практическо­му освоению медицины, осо­бенно учиться делать анализ крови… Если бы не опыт, знания, правильный подход, а когда нужно – и настойчивость препо­давателя Натальи Ниловой, аме­риканская медицина могла бы лишиться таких опытных нынче специалистов, как мы, – с улыб кой и юмором говорит Лена.

– Огромный багаж знаний дал нам преподава­тель компьютера Марк Ядушливый, который был и остается для нас не просто наставником, но и большим другом.

Список можно продолжать и продолжать: это и преподаватель английского языка Моше Фандо, наставник по биллингу Ольга Мартынова, тактичная и интеллигентная мисс Винер, которая на необыкновенно занимательных статьях о ме­дицине учила нас быстро печатать на компьюте­ре и многие другие. Да и сама обстановка шко­лы более чем доброжелательная.

Что интересно, в группе, где занималась Ле­на, за одной партой сидели не только русскоя­зычные студентки, но и американки. Это значит, что в MBS School  умело сочетаются как лучшие русские традиции, так и американский стиль преподавания. А полученное образование дает возможность работать ассистентом врача медицинским страхованием.

После окончания основного курса и профес­сиональной практики в офисе терапевта-остеопата Константина Перцовского,  Лена стала его ассистенткой.

А ведь она могла, как и мно­гие, сказать: все… достаточно! Супруг работает, старшие девоч­ки учатся и работают, а младший еще школьник. Да и у меня обязанностей более чем! Иванна Фирсак

Из края песен и старинных сказов, За­карпатья, приехала в Нью-Йорк вместе с супругом и двумя дочурками моло­дая женщина с певучим, красивым именем Иванна.

Сколько себя помнит, Иванна всегда любила врачевать. Но рождение детей до поры до времени не давало возможности профессионально реализоваться.

Как-то, уже живя в Америке, подру­га сказала Иванне: «А почему бы тебе не пойти учиться дальше? Вот я, на­пример, после окончания MBS  School работаю в медицинском офисе и очень довольна».

Слова подруги не прошли мимо, и вскоре Иванна тоже стала студенткой. По­сле окончания основного курса ее напра­вили на практику в Maimonides Medical Center, а позже в качестве MEDICAL ASSISTANT зачислили в штат госпи­таля.

УЧИТЬСЯ необыкновенно ИНТЕРЕСНО!

Вот и наступил Новый год. Год доброго и теплого Кро­лика, которого мы так долго ждали после агрессивного Тиг­ра. Казалось бы, теперь все должно быть спокойно и ста­бильно. Но вот незадача – толь­ко включишь телевизор, а новос­ти по-прежнему пестрят всякими пугающими событиями.

Да сколько можно!

Давайте, наконец, поговорим о хорошем. Ведь его в нашей жизни тоже немало, но «хоро­шее» обычно скромно стоит в сторонке.

Дадим же ему слово и расскажем  вам историю милой моло­дой женщины по имени Мариана из живописного украинского го­рода Ивано-Франковска.

…Мариана Кузенко вместе с восьмилетним сынишкой Олегом приеха­ла в Нью-Йорк пять лет назад. Там на родине, еще в совсем юную пору она страстно мечтала о медицине. Одна­ко жизнь – она ведь диктует свои за­коны. Поэтому, выбрав для выжива­ния коммерческий техникум, стала Мариана солидным менеджером ма­газина и ресторана.

А что же тут, в новой и пока еще чужой стране? А тут она пошла по са­мому короткому пути, который дал возможность заработать – стала уха­живать на дому за очень интеллиге­нтной, симпатичной парой пожилых людей, которым по сей день очень признательна за отношение и учас­тие в ее судьбе,

– Начинать было очень сложно, – говорит Мариана. – Сейчас я вспоми­наю с должной толикой иронии, а тогда было не до смеха…

Но ведь Мариане тогда исполнилось только 26 и так хотелось реали­зоваться в профессии, о которой гре­зила еще со школы. Хотя, как она сама говорит, на Украине уже и мыс­лить об этом перестала.

Итак, будучи девушкой самостоя­тельной и энергичной, спустя два с половиной года отправилась Мариа­на… нет-нет не за три моря, а по пон­равившемуся объявлению в MBS School. Пошла пока лишь узнать, а получилось…

– Я сразу поняла, что останусь тут надолго, – с удовольствием вспоми­нает она. – Но начать решила с анг­лийского. А какой у нас преподава­тель был – Дэвид, просто чудо! Он сумел дать нам такую серьезную грамматическую базу, что писать без ошибок я научилась даже раньше, чем говорить. Вот вам и коварный иностранный язык! Ну а в сентябре 2009 года поступила на отделение Medical Assistant.

– Не тяжело было? Ведь, нас­колько я знаю, занимались вы по вечерам.

– Тяжело? Наверно. Но вы даже не представляе­те, как я хотела получить образование и стать ме­диком! Не пропускала ни одного занятия. Не пове­рите – почти сразу после сложной операции на поч­ке – и то бежала в класс!

Мне просто было необык­новенно интересно.

– Мариана, какие воспоминания об MBS School?

– Воспоминания только самые расчудесные: груп­па, что надо. А преподава­тели, тут уже вообще слов не хватает – это люди с большой буквы! Да, они все очень требователь­ные, но их требования преследуют одну цель – воспитать из нас профес­сионалов. А это – боль­шая ответственность. С другой стороны – когда ни попро­сишь – всегда помогут!

Сколько хорошего хочется сказать о Марке Ядушливом – преподавате­ле офисных компьютерных программ – если раньше я вообще боялась к этому «последнему слову техники» подойти, то теперь и в работе ис­пользую, и сыну помогаю.

Отдельные слова благодарности и восхищения нашему педагогу по ме­дицине Наталье Ниловой – она осо­бенный наставник и не знать у нее просто стыдно.

Правильно и доступно она научи­ла нас и теории и практике. Думае­те, не страшновато-то было поначалу кровь брать? Конечно, страшно, но как мне ее уроки помогли в будущем!

Hу a трудно… наверно было не просто, особенно вечером после ра­боты. Но я повторюсь, так желала по­лучить это образование, что сама ди­ву давалась, как все у меня гладко шло. Да и «закладка» английского языка не прошла даром.

– С занятиями понятно, а как обстояли дела с практикой?

– На практике по направлению MBS Business School я была в Maimonides Medical Center, при­чем в очень сложных отделениях – онкологии и искусственной венти­ляции легких. Понят­ное дело и там и там, в основном, тяжелоболь­ные люди. Но к этому быстро привыкаешь и бесконечно радуешься возможности помочь ихоть чем-то облег­чить состояние. Мы, я имею в виду практика­нтки, помогали медсе­страм, неукоснительно выполняли все их ука­зания, смотрели за больными. А коллектив госпиталя, с которым мне довелось работать в эти три летних меся­ца, относился ко мне просто прекрасно: шли навстречу, делились знаниями и давали воз­можность получить ре­альные практические навыки. Хотя, должна с гордостью сказать – я не чувствовала себя профаном и ме­ня даже часто спрашивали: Ты что, медсестра с дипломом после коллед­жа? Вот так нас научили в НАШЕЙ школе!

• А что вспоминается про этот самый «страшный» экзамен на лайсенс?
• Готовили нас очень медленно и подробно. Действительно, казалось – очень сложно – думала – не сдам. Но, вы не поверите, когда наступил «роковой» день экзамена, оказалось, что мы, в частности я, все знаю! У меня просто все «выскакивало» само со­бой, так нас здорово и правильно подготовили. Сдала – на 96 баллов!

– Ну и наконец, главная цель – работа?

– В MBS School мне помогли подготовить грамотное резюме. Я его поставила на интернет-сайт Craigslist и буквально сразу получила приглашение на интервью в Quality лабораторию по проверке крови. Это была моя первая проба и, конечно, я волновалась. Но когда пришла, мне не задали ни одного вопроса, а поп­росили показать, как я умею работать – взять кровь. В первый момент я ис­пугалась, но тут же вспомнила наше­го педагога, все выполнила и сразу получила работу!

Вот уже месяц, как я разъезжаю по домам пациентов и делаю анализ крови. Перед первым выходом тряслась – очень ответственно правильно сделать анализ, точно следуя назна­чению врача. Открыла свои конспек­ты, перечитала и – вперед!

Сегодня у меня уже есть постоян­ные пациенты, они ждут только меня. Люди это пожилые, больные (порой у них очень сложно даже найти вену), очень ревностно наблюдающие за моей работой. Поблажек себе давать нельзя, все только по правилам и справляюсь. Спустя месяц уже и не боюсь. А для пациентов – я специа­лист. Знаете, сколько вопросов по медицине задают. Поэтому, такая работа заставляет еще и профессио­нально расти.

• Марианочка, и напоследок…
• Когда у человека есть образова­тельная база, особенно в чужой стра­не – он себя по-другому ощущает. Я счастлива, что в моей жизни все сло­жилось именно так, и я смогла реализовать свою давнишнюю мечту. Скажу больше – если бы в MBS School открылось еще одно медицинское отделение, с удоволь­ствием пошла бы и туда! Не нужно свое нежелание расти сваливать на занятость. Я, например, с 5 до 9 утра еду к пациентам, а потом продолжаю работу по уходу на дому. Всё успе­ваю и всем довольна. И вообще, ког­да чего-нибудь очень хочешь – обя­зательно получается, чего и вам желаю!

Позвольте, господа «присяжные засе­датели», – кто кому и что должен? Приезжая в чужую страну, в первую очередь мы должны внести вклад в её копилку, трудиться, создавать новое и себя новых. При­чем делать это спокойно, без гонора и напы­щенности.

… Восемь лет назад в Америку из Санкт- Петербурга вместе с 13-летним сыном при­ехала милая, изящная женщина Виктория Виноградова. В своем родном городе с боль­шим удовольствием она служила искусству, обучая подростков азам сценического мастер­ства. Одним словом – личность творческая.

Но на обстоятельства Виктория смотрела очень реально, поэтому и не питала иллюзий относительно «былых заслуг». А посему, спус­тя совсем немного времени, она устраивается на работу в детский сад, придумывает различ­ные интересные постановки, проводит празд­ники, учит всему, что только знала. Да вот еще потихоньку «подтягивает» английский. Конечно, можно было бы подтвердить свой диплом, пойти в колледж… Но, уж извините, отсутствие языка, а в большей степени денег держит очень надежно на приколе, а «жуткое» слово «лоан» просто страшит молодого, «нео­тесанного» иммигранта, да при отсутствии ре­альной поддержки.

Так незаметно пролетело пять лет…

О профессии медика Виктория думала дав­но, но, как в любом деле – нужно было созреть.

• С самого первого дня я не сомневалась что обязательно буду учиться, – говорит Викто­рия, – А еще мне всегда везло на хороших, отк­рытых, готовых помочь и подсказать людей.

Поэтому, когда наступил правильный мо­мент, Виктория направилась просто посмот­реть – что же это такое MBS School, которую порекомендовала подруга.

Но разве можно было уйти после разговора с администратором школы, абсолютно обая­тельным и мудрым человеком Мариной Лебе­девой?!

• Я как будто побывала дома, – вспоминает Виктория.- Мне все так искренне, от души объ­яснили, настроили на правильный лад. Было полное ощущение заинтересованности во мне, как в человеке и личности.
• Уезжая в чужую страну, ты должна забыть о том, кем была, что делала,- подытожила раз­говор Марина,- Это – как заново родиться и с чистого листа начать поиск своей дороги.

Эти слова запали Викторие в душу. И пусть говорят, что нельзя прожить жизнь дважды. Мы – иммигранта (люди сильные) в корне оп­ровергаем эту старую истину, а сама встреча стала очень правильным эмоциональным и психологическим стимулом.

Итак, с октября 2008 года Виктория на­чала обучаться на отделении «Medical Assistant» MBS School.

-Несмотря на то, что от медицины я была, в общем-то, далека, да еще все предметы на английском, учиться мне было безумно инте­ресно! – делает экскурс в недалекое прошлое Виктория. – Я вообще человек упорный – если что делать, то обязательно хорошо.

Но насколько присутствовал драйв в заня­тиях, настолько было тяжело в смысле време­ни. Его просто катастрофически не хватало. С работы едва успевала на занятия, к десяти прибегала домой, а дома… а дома уже хотелось только упасть и заснуть, а ведь нужно и чем-то питаться, и с сыном пообщаться. К уро­кам готовилась на работе. А еще моим «читальным залом» был транспорт: присела, учебник или конспект открыла и больше ничего не слышу и не вижу. Время пролетало абсолютно незаметно. Помните, в «Приключениях Шурика», как они, потеряв чувство реальности, маниакально готовились к экзамену? Вот так и у меня снова наступила студенческая пора.

А в школе…в школе царила такая необыкно­венная атмосфера. Несмотря ни на что, туда так хотелось идти, да что там идти – бежать. Сами собой напрашиваются слова из когда-то культового фильма о вечерней школе – «Боль­шая перемена»:

-У нас учителя такие лапочки. Они понима­ют, как нам трудно…

Весь коллектив школы буквально опекал нас. Они старались дать максимум знаний, комфорта, помочь с государственными прог- рамми и грантами, а главное – поднять нас в своих собственных глазах. И вот – ты уже не растерянный «инопланетянин», а студент биз­нес школы!

…Прошел еще год… Наступило время практики. И хотя нас школа обеспечивает тем, что называется «internship», я не привыкла ожидать, что мне все преподнесут на блюдеч­ке. Поэтому заранее сама обратилась к наше­му с сыном доктору – Майклу Фуксу. Именно он заронил во мне мысль стать медиком. Док­тор с удовольствием взял меня на практику, но оказался очень строгим и требовательным наставником. Честно скажу, теоретический ба­гаж, с которым пришла в офис, был основа­тельным – очень многое понимала и знала, но без практики, а опыт я получила неоценимый, понятное дело, просто невозможною.

Вот так, продолжая мотаться между детс­ким садиком и медицинским офисом, Виктория провела еще восемь месяцев…

• Другой серьезный момент – экзамен на общенациональную сертификцию, – продолжает Виктория.- Он достаточно сложный, мы, конечно, волновались. Но наш преподаватель Наталья Нилова, которая и готовила нас к экзамену, не уставала повторять:
• Волнение не самый хороший помощник. Нужно просто-напросто учить. Будете учить сдадите без проблем.

И Виктория учила, учила абсолютно все. Любую свободную минуту использовала для подготовки: в дороге, в поезде, каждую паузу в работе. Так, еще один рубикон взят и теперь дело за малым… найти работу. Школа, конечно, по­могала, но Виктория, будучи человеком дея­тельным, решила не ждать у моря погоды, сама начала рассылать резюме.
